I'm catching the same scent of desperation. I'm a fan of Celine Dion and feel she's worth it and then some.
However, in January Caesars Palace President John Groom resigned very suddenly for personal reasons. Spokesman for
Caesars Palace declined to explain his resignation or John Groom's plans. I think Mr. Groom had only
only been president for less than 2 years and was only 50 something. I felt at the time the idle construction in front,
sluggish economy and the pressure of filling 4,000 seats, 5 nights a week, I forget how many years might have had something to do with it. Besides steep prices the intimate seating capacity, puts the farthest seat only 120 feet from the stage. Before I got two marketing offers in 4 days to see her, I was going to pay, but, was going to buy the cheaper seats
because of the unique seating design. With 115 speakers, 125,000 watts of power amplification, I knew I could hear
her just fine for half the price.
Best Regards,
Lolly
ML got the same offer for two tickets as I, but she barely
plays in the joint. Do I catch the scent of desperation drifting
through the PP empire?
