From the LVA QOD ...
It’s true that the state teacher’s union wants to raise the gambling tax
from 6.75% to 9.75%, a 31% increase. How likely that is to happen and what
would transpire if it does is anyone’s guess.

If the gambling tax goes from 6.75% to 9.75% that would be a 44.5% increase,
not 31%. 9.75 is 44.44% more than 6.75%, although 6.75 is 31% less than
9.75.
6.75 * 1.4444 = 9.75.
9.75 / 1.31 = 6.75.

It looks to me that the first offshore gaming site that implements all that
we like, ie, 1100 hand per hr, option of playing two or more machines at once,
fair paytables, cash back, emailed pictures of free prime rib dinners, etc,
will capture all of our interest.
PokerStars sponsors a sports show so why not the casino part of Bodog
sponsoring a Video Poker show featuring Jean Bob etc. Or why not Bob Dancer
starting an offshore gaming site exclusively for Video Poker... could be named
"BobDog.com"
