I've noticed a few things in the database different from the
facts on the ground.
First, Las Vegas Club has three, not two, slant-top Downtown
Deuces machines in quarters. You'll find two of them in the main
casino by the cashier, and the third in the stadium (or whatever they
call it) casino.
Second, as far as I can see, El Cortez has only three quarter
Downtown Deuces machines, not five: Two uprights and one slant-top in
the Classic Slots Area.
Third, Terrible's has five, not two, upright Multi-Strike
machines with Bonus Poker at the quarter level near a bar. These all
likely have 8/5 Bonus Poker available for 50 cents also, but I can't
say with 100% certainty that they do.

Could someone please check out the number of downtown deuces at the El
Cortez just to make sure they are down to 3? With 5 it was difficult
to get a seat, with 3 forget it. If it weren't for the FPKBJW there
would be no reason to go there.

I was there at the end of August, and I beleive three is correct, all in the clasic slot are. Yes you may have difficulty getting on these machines during the busy times, which I would define as about 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Best bet is to play early. Probably less used are the the three downtown deces at the Vegas Club.

I've never been unable to get a seat at the Downtown Deuces machines at
Vegas Club, particularly in the Stadium.

Of course, they've torched my bankroll every time I've sat down at them, so
that's sort of a mixed blessing.
