Just returned from a wonderful trip to LVH, with some excursions to
Caesars and Wynn, here are the updates/confirmations on comps and
cashback.
LVH: We are C2 and got bumped from a 26th floor 3 room suite to the
29th floor wonderful 3 room suite with balconies on both sides of the
hotel and really enjoyed the fresh air. Cashback was the expected
amount, but comp $ accumulated very slowly, most likely due to full
RFB ?? I did not track exactly, but I guess about 1/2 of cash value.
We did a special promo weekend (indy car drive) and also cashed a
monthly coupon.
Caesars: Wife and I both played on our own cards, cashback as
expected, but her comp accumulated at 2x cashback and my comp
accumulated at 1/2 of cash value. Talked to promotions booth person
and then to supervisor, who forwarded it to IT and they actually
called me back and comfirmed a problem and added $55 to my comp
account, and shortly after as I was playing $20 dissappeared and the
problem continued. Went back and reported it again and havent heard a
thing since.
Wynn: Played only on one card, got the 500 points and the 2 buffets
(very good variety of food and well prepared), and played more (only
found 5 spinpokers with $1 9/6 JOB and no other 9/6 JOB anywhere)
ended up with 18k CI and a nice person at the Red Card desk let us
know that we had more than $100 in comp but less than $140 in comp
available, if we use $120 that would be 3x cashback or .06666% pretty
good. We made reservations at the french gourmet restaurant and got
there early and played some more, I believe another 9k CI and went to
get a comp and a host set us up for a full comp at the restaurant, I
inquired as to the value and he only said it was a full comp, as long
as we dont order a $500 bottle of wine. It was one of the best meals
we have ever had and the service was excellent.
Also inquired at Caesars re: the Harrahs takeover and was told that
since they have never had such a High End property, that they were
going to leave everything alone, lets hope that includes the few
playable games.
Happy Royals (of which I got none for the trip)
