Rizzolo said he plans to sue the federal government to recoup money he lost
during those hours. He estimated that the closure cost him between $40,000
and $60,000.
I guess the Rizz was absent the day that was covered in Civics class. Since
a federal magistrate found probable cause to issue the search warrant, he
has no recourse to sue, even if evidence was not recovered in the search.
After reading the article, it was easy for me to see why the Rizz is a
target. He definitely flunked the attitude test. It's not a good idea to
tug on superman's cape, spit into the wind or openly F with the Feds. This
will be an interesting story to follow. There just aren't many mob
connections in Las Vegas anymore, so the ones that remain are sure to be
watched closely by Uncle Sam.
