LV auto rentals

It could be that you had the misforturne of dealing with a newbie who has
grandiose management amibitions. I've dealt with both kinds at Enterprise. My
usual response is to explain I would be delighted to take the secondary
coverage--provided it was priced at the actuarily correct price ($1-$2). Otherwise,
it's gouging (or a rotten insurance play, to use vpfree parlance). If I'd
purchased the coverage over my rental career--I'm sure I would have paid for a
fleet of cars big enough to start my own rental co. My platinum Discover
provides rental coverage as a first line of defense. Then AAA takes over.

JUST SAY NO TO RENTAL INSURANCE.

Other than dealing with the Management wannabees, my experience has always
been pleasent with Enterprise.
