REMEMBER THE RNG? I am surprised at how many "educated" gamblers on
this site make references to hot and cold machines. If you believe in that stop
working on strategy. You atre wasting your time Ray

Exactly my point. I thought Singer was the only fool that believes in machine cold and hot cycles. He even has a video on his site about this type of claim.

I think that no matter what one believes, or how "educated" one is,
that they can continue to learn. I certainly would not recommend that
anyone discontinue using/practicing proper strategy, because they
happen to comment that a particular vp machine is "hot" or "cold".
These terms are, after all, only semantics, and have different
meanings to different players.

While I realize, intellectually, that machines cannot be hot/cold, and
that what happens on any given hand has absolutely no impact on future
hands, it frequently SEEMS otherwise. If you are playing a machine
that is adding to your bankroll (and your session enjoyment) I believe
you can be "forgiven" for thinking that the machine is "hot".

Conversely, when you are bleeding bennies every twenty minutes, and
cannot complete a paying hand, you need not be chastised for
considering that the machine is "cold". No matter how inaccurate these
terms may be, they are only words, and should not cause the utterer to
be banished from our elite group of "advantage" players.

I do believe that many members of this board play for fun and
enjoyment, as well as profit. Though it is much more enjoyable to
play when one is winning, many of us do not depend on VP for our
livlihood, and can, perhaps, have a more relaxed attitude towards the
game, than the pros. Therefore, I do think it would add to more
personal playing enjoyment, to lighten up just a bit.

Sounds pretty good Babe!
But, maybe Glen used to work for IGT since he sounds like he knows
very well about this RNG whether the machines are in vegas or in
Indian casinos. He probably knows that if the RandomSeed used is (5),
for example, casinos changing this number to be RandomSeed of (123)
will not make a difference. (Programming 101)
