Lake Charles IOC has in the past two weeks lowered all of their VP pay returns. A new general manager is in place. Multi-hand 5¢ have been lowered from 99% returns to 97-98 and the 25¢/50¢ machines have all been lowered to around 97%. IOC-LC which is housed on an old boat now matches the new Vegas style Lauberge du Lac.
Perhaps the strangest part of the change is that the new 25¢ machines eliminated all of the deuces games (deuces wild, deuces wild bonus, and double deuces wild) and Jacks or Better, Joker and Aces Bonus. Why they would eliminate DW and DWB, JOB is beyond me. These are still available on some of the 50¢ machines which were changed the week before.
One has to wonder why if they are trying to compete with the newer Lauberge they would eliminate their only advantage?
Additionally, this week the GM fired the Executive Hosts and several of the older secretaries including the former GM's secretary.
