STATION CASINOS ANNOUNCES SPECIAL BUFFET PRICES

EXTENDED THROUGH NOVEMBER 26<<

I don't usually send complaint letters, but we sent one to Green Valley Ranch Station regarding their new buffet pricing and their new food quality to match the prices. Yuck. The whitefish was literally spoiled, by the time the chef arrived at our table and we discussed it with him, it had already been pulled from the buffet. The prime rib had lost its flavor and the shrimp are now the little ones. They would just mush in your mouth, not firm and tasty like the big ones. Snow crab, not King crab with the new pricing. Chicken soup tasted like it was salt water bow tie pasta and slightly raw carrots....very little chicken and no chicken stock. The chef we talked to said they were litterally banging their heads on the table trying to get management to change their attitudes. The kitchen prides itself on preparing great food, they have built up a reputation and now it is sinking fast.

The patrons are obviously, for the most part, "trying" the buffet - they are not the ones to park their kids and play awhile. This will drive away the loyal patrons (those of us who use our points and don't really care if it is $14 - $18 to eat).

Just how I feel, if you feel the same way, let them know!!
Cheers,
Bonnie
