I know personally of a VP player who showed a loss of about $20000 on
$1, $2 and $5 multi-play VP and got a check for $2000 in the mail by
the end of the next week. I physically saw the check. He also got a
few hundred in airfare reimbursed cash at the cage with the host
before checkout, the usual cash back % we all get and they were RFB
anyway, so only tips on the check-out bill (I saw that too). But he
said that only happened once - other losing trips less than $20K were
not reinbursed (airfare still paid) and obviously nothing back on
winning trips.
