It goes without saying that this isn't an "advantage" play. I
apologize for the misguided focus of my original reply. However, I
hope it shed a little light on rebate program considerations in general.- Harry

Harry, maybe you were thinking of something like Carl Ichan's New Slot Club
Member deal, that appears to have vaporized on Nov. 1st. Arizona Charlies had
it and so did the Aquarius (official new name on Nov 1st for Flamingo-L).
The terms were being an A.C.E. virgin, 100% rebate up to $100 for the first
day, minimum loss $5.
The Strat also had a couple versions of this kind of deal over the years. It
was time sensitive. I think it was a 100% rebate for the first half-hour of
tracked play. Maybe up to $125 or so? I did this one about 2000.
I can remember playing 9/5 White Hot Aces for $1 for the first $100 and then
playing their Super version games in quarters to get my 30 minutes, after the
pot shot. The rebate was actually a mailed bounceback voucher, which made you
came back fairly soon.
