For those on a losing streak, take heart! My husband has been on a very l--o--n--g losing streak. When he does hit a jackpot, it seems to be gone again in minimal time. He has repeatedly told me to just go ahead and play and he will quit! I repeatedly tell him that we have enough bankroll that he can always "deuce" himself to death and to keep playing. Well he hit ducks for $500 on the 10 coin FPDW at Skyline (no slot club). Then he hit 2 royals 20 minutes apart on the same machine at Longhorn (4X points and .2 cashback for .8). He cleared $2,500 in less than a couple hours of play. I made $2000 myself this week (RF and a spin jackpot). It's been a good week for our bankroll!!

> If you have a partner and the two of you are playing on one bankroll,
you don't need twice as much. You need the same $3,000 for quarter machines
as if only one of you is playing. Think of it this way: would you need more
money if you were playing eight hours a day by yourself than if two of you
each played four hours a day? No. In fact, partnership play smoothes out the
ups and downs a little. If you want to have a little more than the minimum bankroll, just in
case, you might feel better with a $4,000 or $5,000 bankroll for one or two
people playing quarter video poker. If we approach that $3,000 in losses, we
don't get as nervous if we have a $1,000-$2,000 reserve. We've never had to
touch it, but it gives us a secure feeling when we're in a long dry spell."
