<<<<<<<<<I have lost all or part of a
day's points five times this year>>>>>>>>
I've had a similar problem at Terrible's Las Vegas. For a long time I
was very frustrated because of points I frequently would lose after
pulling my card. For example if my start points were 1000 and I played a
2000 point session and pulled my card, upon reinserting my card my point
total would frequently be substantially less then the anticipated 3000
points. I brought the matter to the attention of many supervisors who
always acted like it was the first time they had ever heard of the
problem. After a lot of experimentation I think I finally found a method
to eliminate or at least significantly reduce the problem. When I end a
session, I do not immediately remove my card from the machine. If you
leave the card in an inactive machine for a period of time you will see
the points start to bounce back and forth between session points and
total account points. The total account points sometimes will not arrive
at the correct total for a couple of upward oscillations. Had you pulled
your card immediately after playing your last hand, you would have lost
these last couple of point additions. On MG/MD games it appears you can
sometimes speed up this point accumulation process by rapidly changing
between games &/or denominations after finishing your play and watching
the point display total before pulling your card. Apparently making
these game changes sends some signal to the central computer which
results in a data transmission.
