Between last night and this morning all of the bank next to the
progressives that formerly had $1 8/5 BP was downgraded to 7/5. All
but a couple in the bank near the high limit room has also been
downgraded.
The multiline machines are still 8/5, for now. The token three 9/6 JOB
machines are also intact for now (at least the one isolated one was;
the two on the other side were occupied).
That's some sad news. I was staying at the Palazzo when the pillaging took place the third week of May and was wondering if the Venetian was going to be next.
Hey, I'm closer to Atlantic City anyway so it's kind of hard to justify the plane fare out to Vegas nowadays.

Quick weekend update: they've stopped short of destroying playable
video poker for now. On the one bank of 7 machines near the high limit
area three have been downgraded to 7/5 BP. The deuces game on those
machines were downgraded as well. The other single and multiline 8/5
BP machines near the high limit area remain intact, as do the 3 with
9/6 JOB. I managed to get a royal on one of those today, so I'm
counting my blessings and not counting on getting any more
opportunities there.
I wonder, did they just not finish the job of downgrading before the
weekend, or are they doing some market research to see just how
clueless their customers are?
