2 weeks ago, I left both my ACG and LVA coupon book ( both 80% coupon full )
at the GVR. It's probably sitting in the lost-and-found right now. Anybody who wants to claim

Agua Caliente is very friendly and has a terrific buffet.
Especially if you like shrimp.
They have some reasonably good pay tables, and they
get better as your denominations go up.
The JoB machines are 8/5 on the 25 centers and 9/6
on the $1
Another 20+ minutes east is Fantasy Springs, who's
buffet is not much better than a Carrow's, has a great
'Play $20, get $50' promotion.
You put $20 through any machine, they give you $50
in slot play and you keep your winnings.
The only thing is they don't let you play the $50 on VP
or other high return machines.
I got $58.00 back and took it home.
Broke even on the VP I played and had some good
shots at Royals, so I was happy.
We checked the buffet and it was so dissapointing
in so many ways, we didn't eat there and instead
went to the Morongo Casino in Cabazon.
Morongo has some good VP machines, and a very
good buffet.
We went to the buffet last night and were really pleased.
Morongo is one of the nicest low roller casinos I have
ever been into, with everyone from security to waiters,
being super nice.
They do have a few 9/6 JoB machines there, and I
can't comment on the other games as I haven't learned
them, but I can tell you they were good enough to be
100% packed and impossible to get a seat at.
We saw one grandmother there playing on the 'best'
JoB machine before we went to the buffet, she had
$65.00 in the machine.
After we ate and had drinks, we went back, hoping
any of the good machines would have opened.
They all had the same players on them, including
granny on my favorite machine. She was down to
$55.00, but immediately hit a flush when we were
watching, holding three to a straight flush, but getting
two not straightening suited cards.
This cute old gal noticed we were watching her play
and commenting, and was super friendly and chatted
with us as she played seeminly perfectly and kept
her stake right abot $65.00 and kept cranking.
At Cabazon, sign up for the Player's Club and you
automatically comped for the buffet. And that's
worth $20 or so at dinner!
Monday-Thursday is really a bargain at the buffet.

Morongo is 1.5 hrs east of LAX.
Agua Caliente & Spa Resort Casino are 2 hrs east of LAX.
Augustine, Fantasy Springs, and Spotlight 29 are another 15-20 min east of Agua/Spa Resort.
