Rick, there's one opportunity that will be located on your back
doorstep on the strip: Las Vegas Hilton. They have a decent number
of $.25 gamemakers with AA that have a very nice kicker: .55% cb.
Now that's a sweet combo if I've ever seen one.
However, there's one detraction. These machines, located in the Space
Quest casino on machines labelled "Double Bonus", use a graphic card
set that can be very difficult to read. The "pips" (you know, the
suit symbols) are very angular in design. This makes the hearts and
diamonds almost indistinguishable and more than a little frustrating
for a game like AA where concentration is already at a premium.
However, I found a technique for playing these machines that has
served me well: "innies" and "outies" :). The pips for hearts and
diamonds are very similarly shaped but can be distinguished from the
fact that the heart design is indented at the top whereas the diamond
design is peaked a bit.
At any rate, there are two banks of slant-top machines in the Space
Quest casino. One bank is located a little out of the way on the left
as you descend onto the mail floor area, along a railing. The other
bank is back-to-back and located on the right about half-way into the
floor area.
