Ever since Windsor casino removed their full-pay pick'em poker, we've been looking for a new place to go, in addition to Las Vegas, where we do go a couple of times a year.
We'd like to travel by car from Southeast Michigan, so are looking for a place that has good comp'd rooms, and occasional multi-point/cash back promotions to make up the difference between vp return, and full pay.
Any suggestions?

If your willing to take a long drive, try Atlantic City. The casino's are 75% non-smoking, and they have 9/6 Jack's in a lot of places. Once summer is over, room offer's are pretty good after you show them some play.

Are you from the Ann Arbor area? There's a chance I met you at Windsor the last night of the pick 'em era. (I hit three quads in six hours).
I mostly play at Greektown now. Since they moved the good machines over near the Eclipz bar, there are fewer smokers and it's easy to move to a empty machine. Plus, the ventilation is better. They have NSUD and 9/6 JOB up to dollars. Free rooms are out of the question for me but for dollars you might get something good. The payback is almost a wash with the cashback and free food. They have a nice hotel, but no spa.
