"betting shops". They are ubiqutous in all UK cities; the main companies include:
Ladbrokes; Coral; Wiliam Hill; and Bet Fred.

Just curious, are the cards dealt from the right side of the screen to the left?

I'll check next time I am passing a "shop" but I think they draw left to right.
