Logical? was "Math v. Superstition?"

Logical? The mistakes made after WWI, where the Western powers saddled
Germany with debt it wouldn't/couldn't repay thus creating fertile ground for
the third-ranking Nazi party to take over. Now it's come full circle, in
that Germany (and France) are trying to impose the same terms on their debtor
neighbors who also can't pay it off, creating fertile ground for .....?

Logical? When you juxtapose the terms "_Math v. Superstition?_

Math is the ultimate goal but there's really quite a bit more to it than
just the math. I would hope that long-term efficiency is also a goal which
means that if you need to move around (better chair, sticky keys,
superstition, whatever) it puts you in a better frame of mind so that you can
maintain a high degree of alertness. Longevity is also another goal--pros hit it
24/7 but tourists are looking for a "lucky" streak & what crowd do you want
to belong to when they do a machine-number run?

Logical? Just had to reply when I opened this digest & saw that almost
every post was on "_Math v. Superstition?_

subject to get passionate about? I would hope that people find something more
exciting to get passionate about this holiday season.

Logical? Oh, we are talking about people not robots, right?

............................................................Maybe World
War 1,
which, in a way, to some extent, is still being fought, would have
been avoided had a few people been a little more logical.

...a boom of state owned casinos filled with only high denom decent pay table video poker that creates promos and comp systems that are +EV for the skilled player?

Hey, they have to pay off the debt somehow. Casinos could be a viable option, and, since they'd be new to the game, they could easily screw up the math and create player advantage situations. Maybe the could even hire the original management of the M.

Agree or disagree, at least I injected VP back into this thread. This is a video poker discussion group, is it not?

It's kind of confusing, but I can travel from San Jose CA to Las Vegas on a few days in January and February 1 for only 35.00 each way!!!
