My understanding that points earned after the club change last year can be used for cash or comps - a useless comp since there is no advantage of using them that way instead of cash. However, the points you accumulated before the change are available for comps only, i.e., food, room, gift shop. They will give you your old comp-only balance if you ask at the slot club desk. It doesn't not show up on the card reader at the machine - that balance that shows is you cash/or comp balance since the change.
