Two problems with this. I will never tell a stranger that I'm quitting in a
short time. If I do, as you say, they will "stay close," and I am very
uncomfortable playing with people hovering in my vicinity and not playing,
especially if they watch me play while they hover.
And, though unlikely, the person asking might be a thief waiting to follow
me to my car. So my stock answer, on the rare occasions I've been asked, is
"four or five hours," whether that's the case or not.
None of this applies if the person asking is someone I know. In that case,
they don't have to ask, as I will volunteer the information. Assuming I like
the person, of course!
