Local vs Visitor

A question regarding our slot club account. We've recently purchased
a house in Reno and will be spending the May - Oct time frame there
each year. The rest of the year we'll be in SoCal.

Our "home casino" is the Nugget in Sparks and we currently get comped
rooms and a small amount of cash, maybe $40 / month.

For all the rest of the casinos where we have slot club accounts,
we've changed to the Reno address so we can receive the locals
offers. But our question is around the Nugget. We're considering
leaving it at the SoCal address so we can continue to get comp room
offers. We're thinking that may be valuable when "family" come to
visit and want a place to stay.

By doing this we may lose out on some good local offers from the
Nugget, but we really have no idea.

Any thoughts or advice on this?

We moved from the bay Area to a small town in California, but within
40 miles of Reno. CLose enough to be considered locals. We still get
comped room offers from John's as well as "local only" tournament
invitations. The local only tournaments are usually only one day
events (saturday) and dont come with room offers.

JA Nugget has lowered their comps to .5%,or 50 cents per $100 on the
VP machines. The display on the machines was not showing our balance
when we last visited last week. I dont know if this is a permanent
change, or just a short time computer failure.

BTW, there is only one Sigma Deuce Deluxe VP machine left on the
floor. One dollar denomination with 100.35% return. All other Sigmas
have gone to that great big casino in the sky.

But there is still the 6 10/7 DDB machines between the craps table and
the cabaret, with 100.2% return (nickles and quarters level)

Last week the Sigma $1 DDJ coin dropper was mystically reincarnated
from the great big casino in the sky. It is next to the DDLX machine.
Retro is in!!!
