Local promo summary

Here is my understanding of the current matching promotions at the Detroit casinos:

Greektown -- Will match free play offers 1 to 1. Will match Casino Windsor hotel offers for October only.

MGM -- Will match local offers 2 to 1 up to a $100 offer ( $200 in freeplay). They stopped matching out of town offers as of 10/11/09

Motor City -- Do not know.

MGM ran their promotion with only billboard advertising, confusing rules, inconsistent application and an abrupt end on 10/11/09. They had a chance to really generate some interest and instead, they upset a lot of their best customers. You would have thought Greektown was running the promotion.

Also, is there any interest in a group meet? We haven't had one in a while. I'm thinking mid November.

There was an ad in the Sunday Freepress for MGM.
This morning I went to Greektown to play my MGM's freeplay , They stopped matching MGM's at midnight Oct 11. Did not tell anyone until you get to the card club, no signs at all.
MGM did double Greektowns offer this morning.
