I told my folks when they were old that I'd be just as happy if they spent my
"inheritance." I suggested that dad light the last cigar with the last $100
bill (what I would do) but he insisted on leaving it to me. And now it's my
retirement and I'm with you - I'll spend it however I wish. One thing I wish,
however, that limits my spending, is not to have to work again full-time ever.
