True, and there's a major strategy error in the first rule where
you say that if you're dealt three high cards and one is an ace, then
hold the two non-ace high cards. That is only a good rule if the word
"unsuited" is included.
Disagree. Miscellaneous high cards are specified/explained in the first sentence. Clearly, they're unsuited. When you take it out of context, as you did, I can see the confusion. It's very clear on my strategy cards, free with my book--don't think Square One would approve of me publishing the strategy cards in the article. I considered it very nice that they allowed me to include free removable cards with my book.

Also, if the list is truly intended for beginners, you need to
define "high cards."
Excellent point. As a former teacher, of course I defined all terms; however, this was cut from the online link and I don't have a copy of the magazine. I'm hoping the definitions are in the magazine article. By the way, my 10/7 tips also include definitions--they'll be in next month's edition of Southern Gaming.
My strategy cards are for beginners as well as seasoned players.
My dog, Ralph, a very old golden retriever died in his sleep--first Maggie, then Ralph. The last thing I want is to argue with a competitor about my work. Linda
