Banning cell phones I think would be unrealistic.

I think that gambling is recreation and cell phone usage is less disturbing
and invasive than smoking. If the person is talking too loud, I indicate it
manually but otherwise if it bothers me, I move. You can't legislate its use
in an environment where it is merely annoying, not dangerous. More annoying
to me is the banging on the buttons - much more so.

Requesting that bingo players turn off their cell phones is now
standard precedure in alot of Vegas bingo halls.

If you are wondering what the Commando would be doiing playing bingo,
go to Wizard of Odds and do some reading. I had some spots figured
out before he did any work on the subject. He confirmed my
contention that one could find overlays in some Vegas bingo halls. I
don't have time to elaborate today. It's moving day. The hotel I'll
be in doesn't have wireless but there is a library with wireless two
blocks away. So I won't be doing that much posting for the next few
weeks. Good luck.
