Hi,
I just wrote the following letter to Frank Neborsky who is the VP
of Slot Operations at the Sun. Perhaps others will want to write a
similar letter( notice no mention of PE or EV% specifically, but
he'll know what I'm talking about)..
Dear Mr. Neborsky,
I recently" rediscovered" Mohegan Sun, thanks in part to your much
improved Video Poker Inventory at the dollar level. I was enjoying
my twice monthly outings to MS. There were always plenty of machines
available even during weekends.
I was quite sorry to see that you reduced half of the dollar Bally
Gamemakers in the "old poker room" to quarter machines. It has made
me start to think twice about taking a two hour trip and not being
able to play my preferred denomination/game. Just the other day I
couldn't find a seat at the remaining eight dollar games.( BTW, the
quarter machines never seem to have capacity seating). My lady
friend who plays at the same level as I do now refuses to go to
Mohegan as she can only make weekend trips and is concerned about not
getting a seat. She wants us to go to Atlantic City. I can only
wonder as to how many other people are now experiencing these
difficulties?
I'm not naive, and realize that the bottom line is always what
counts to casino management, but as in my case there are many Video
Poker players who bring friends and family to casinos with them.
These people may also be playing slots and other casino games.
Please consider either adding or changing over some quarter
machines to the dollar level with the same quality Video Poker.
Thank you,
Lawrence Feldman
