Another way to vary your bet without hurting yourself is to find 50- or
100-play machines with schedules that are acceptable to you. It's even better if
you can find the schedules in several denominations.
In any case, you can play max coin & still vary your bet by varying the
number of hands played and, on some machines with the same schedules, varying the
denomination. Most likely, the best opportunities are to be found in NV in
places like LV and Reno.
Unfortunately, this will not work on anything less than 50-plays as all the
lower multi-hand machines don't have an option to play max coin on as many
hands as you have money for.
