I should have clarified. On some bonus deuce games the FH is only 3 for 1.
It is those where you break them.

My wife and I play both loose dueces and Bonus Dueces, so we always
keep the lowest pair from any two pair dealt, that way we alway keep
the correct pair at bonus, and it is just a guessing game at loose
dueces.
