I went to the Laughlin River Run this weekend. While I was sitting at a $1 Triple-Play machine next to a fellow biker, she was dealt 42444 in Triple Double Bonus Poker for $6000. That was Sat. morning. She immediately jumped up and went over to the $5 - 7/5 BP progressive and kissed off $3000 of it. Anyway, the Ramada still has $2 and $5 10/7 DB -- which as far as I could tell were empty except when I was playing them. I walked across the street to look at some of the items on sale in the parking lot, and went into the Mississippi Lounge (Colorado Belle) to see if the dollar 10/7's were busy. Not a soul. I always end up wondering where everybody is. There's not much cash back, but the comps seem to be a piece of cake to get even talking to nickel players. Isn't that the kind of deal most players want these days?
