Hi!

Is a rent car the best way to visit Laughlin from LV?

Are other convenient alternatives available? (I realize
that "convenient" is usually in the eyes of the beholder.)

We have 5 comp'ed nights at one of the Harrah's properties on the
strip, but with the devastation that has taken place at the Harrah's
properties in LV, I am thnking that this may be a good time to visit
Laughlin.

Comments, recommendations, and reservations (not hotel reservations)
gratefully accepted.

The rental car certainly allows you the most freedom and the drive is not
bad since they improved the road. There are busses that will take you for
day trips out there at little or no cost on their schedule.

Besides the rental car deal and the one day bus trips Chandler
mentioned, there is another option. The following places offer
shuttle service from the LV Airport to Laughlin: Aloha! Shuttles of
Arizona (1-888-442-5642, Tri-State Super Shuttles (1-800-801-8687)
and Mills Tours (1-928-763-3941) The trouble with these shuttles is
they are rather expensive, and if you are already in town, you got to
get to the airport to pick up the shuttle. Also, they have a limited
time schedule.

Most convenient? Call up and reserve a private helicopter to take
you to Laughlin. Oh, I am sure they can arrange for a limo to pick
you up to get you to the airport.

The Best way? Rent a car.
