Hi Everyone, I just got back from my first trip to Laughlin,NV and
stayed at Harrahs (since they took care of the trip). Financially it
was a disaster, but that will happen and hopefully soon that will
average out (very soon, please!!!!). The Harrahs property was very
nice and the resturants were good (especially The Range). As far as
games go, I didnt see anything new to get excited about and I did not
do a extremely thorough exam of each and every game but here goes.
they do have 3 .05 50 play machines (2 in main area and 1 in the
non-smoking casino) these were quite busy and have 9/6 JOB and 10/7
DB. there seemed to be quite a good selection of .25 JOB and DB and
some of them were also .50 and $1, but check each machine before you
play because there were also short pay versions along side full pay.
there were I believe 5 machines together in the main area that were
$1/$2 only with both JOB and DB, and there were JOB machines in the
High Limit area but I didnt inventory how many and what denomination,
but at least $5 is available.
I went on a trip to the Colorado Belle specifically to play Super
Times pay, which I have a fondness for, and even got the Slot
Supervisor and a tech person to help me find this game. It has been
recently converted to 3/5 play machines. Also the Belle and the
Edgewater in my opinion were very lacking as far as atmosphere and
comfort. I left with a bad feeling and went straight back to Harrahs
where it was very clean, comfortable, nice wide isles and not soo much
loud racket. (boy do I sound old or what), after I returned to Harrahs
and expressed my feelings to some others, I was told that the Flamingo
and the Nugget are very nice and I would most likely be happy there.
so, does anyone else like Super Times pay, and are there any in Vegas,
as my wife and I will be there the week of the 21st?
thanks and Happy Royals to all
