The Flamingo Laughin has had a for sale sign out for about 3 years
now. Do you suppose the employees are instructed to tell everyone
that they can buy the place? They were finally able to sell the Reno
Hilton that had been in red ink for years, but they never could
unload the Laughlin property before Harrahs got it by default.
Maybe they will take a cue from the Las Vegas developers. Sell it to
a real estate outfit, and turn it into time share condos. Ugh!
At H-L, the employees stated matter-of-factly that the Flaming O
was for
sale. It was in reply to my question of whether or not the seats
they (Harrahs
Laughlin) would give their players for the shows at the Flamingo
would now
not suck since they owned the joint. The seats will continue to
suck.
