Welcome Snowbirds!

So are you trying to do three months of comped rooms as the primary goal?
Have some history going with any of the casinos and get some mail? Going to
forward your mail from an out-of-town address? Have some wheels to move
around?

****

As far as standard issue rooms here are my rankings:

Golden Nugget
Harrahs
CB
EW
Pioneer
River Palms
Riverside

But they all have their plusses and minuses. This does not look past the
lowest grade room.

****
Maybe a few comments for each casino's qualities:

Golden Nugget- quiet registration area, Serta Pillow-Top Perfect Sleepers,
Fluffiest Towels, 30+ channels on 25 inch TV, able to open window, parking
garage elevator dumps you into the casino, reservations answers the phone, front
desk will book you, 12pm check-out.

GNL Negatives- only 300 rooms-need to plan ahead, bouncy floors, shower
curtain attacks, no playable bartop VP anymore.

Harrahs- can't beat that 8am Diamond check-in in a quiet room, comfy
beds/chairs, south adult tower puts you right into the casino, separate adult pool,
Diamond Lounge, $1 McDonalds, perfect housekeeping timing-8:30am check, friendly
staff, was easy to book online at 3am, non-smoking casino/bar.

Harrahs Negatives- way down there, no food specials, crummy bartop VP.

CB/EW- walk-in shower with glass doors, good location, pools are surrounded
by rooms.

CB/EW downside- check-in a chore, no tub, might drain your comp account on a
mailed offer.

Pioneer- improved rooms-some are downright nice now, decent beds, park your
car right outside your room, straightfoward comps for room/food, great
location, AC puts out, tasty coffee.

Pioneer Downside- scratchy towels, noisy AC, 8 channel-19 inch TV, single
shot coffee, ice machines get robbed since they are outside.

River Palms- usually a Riverview, food specials, easy comp use.

River Palms Negatives- never answer phone, check-in-just wait to 5pm,
skinny/cheap matteresses.

Riverside- really like old North Tower rooms with balconies, covered
parking-easy in and out, old school casino.

Riv Downside- south tower elevators suck, mystery comps through club, junky
shops, nothing to play anymore in the non-smoking casino.
