Just checking in to let everyone know what a great time I had in Laughlin
this past week.

First, upon my arrival (9/19), I met Terry at the Boiler Room and we both
ordered a panini
(sp) that was to die for. It had turkey, bacon, avocado and maybe one or two
other things

To my surprise Bob made it down all the way from the Great Northwest,
airplane ride to start, to Vegas and a car ride to Laughlin by High Noon on
Wednesday. I was on day three and fading fast.. We finally hooked-up with help of the
bartender Ryan. Bob at one end and me at the other end waiting for each
other.

The Paninni of the Day was very tasty! Turkey-Bacon-Cheddar-Avacado on some
stout bread and a pile of fries. The fries were basic out of the freezer bag,
a surprise in a way. I would say a pickle or pepper would help to make it
the tops, no garnish at all presented for a bit of color (you reading this Chef
Demiers?). The daily is only $6.50, and the menu ones $6.95. It was so good
and sucked-up the comped home brew Pale Ales provided with a few VP hands.

The day bartenders are so happy to wait on you now. Olden days the food did
not kick in until 4pm. It used to be they also turned you over for food, after
4pm, to a server while sitting at the bar. Much fairer now to them to get a
food tip too.

I really hope the $12.95 Fish and Chips really is worth it...most expensive
item on the lunch menu. Has anyone tried it yet?

I am looking forward to trying all the revamped CB/EW food outlets.
