Drive at the In-
N-Out. Albuquerque, which has nearly every fast food and chain restaurant
known to exist,
is not so blessed as to have an In-N-Out. I have been known to grab
breakfast in the
Harrah's McD's and scarf it at a machine, just like I'm in the El Cortez. I
don't think they have
a dollar menu, either. I generally shun food from the River Palms, but I
have it on my list to
hit the hot dog cart at some point. I hear the GN snack bar has changed
operators and that
the quality has suffered, but I felt my recent club sandwich and macaroni
salad was a good
way to burn the last of my comps from the Landry's.Drew

So In-and-Out is on the list.
Harrahs- The McDs did have a dollar menu at one time. I could not do those
$9 cheeseburgers/omeletes in the coffeeshop, plus the $2.50 coffee/soda pop.
Even in my Diamond days (Jan 2005-April 1, 2007) I could get by until the
Lounge opened with a McDs fix. Of course during the day I usually was wandering
up the river.
GNL snack bar- The California Club was a fine choice for me being on a
croissant roll and avocado. But I didn't get a pickle slice last time. I would do
the potato salad as my side, just snag some mustard/relish/pepper packets to
doctor it up in the room. It is now open 24/7.
I have not had a Pioneer snack bar sweet roll in awhile. The fish and chips
was unique with one slab of breaded catfish.
My trouble is my strongest comp accounts are at the Riverside or Harrahs
right now.
