I was never granted any mystical food card. I had to "eat for a buck"
when I deigned to stay at one of the old Circus Circus properties.I hope the comps are easier now. Once while playing craps at the
Belle, three of us asked for and did finally receive $20 comps each to
Mark Twain, but it took the pit about an hour. By the time we had the
paper in hand, the restaurant had closed, and we had to go back to the
player's club and exchange the comps for the Paddlewheel. Back then,
you could eat a lot at the Paddlewheel if you had $20.Drew

My food play was the scratcher cards that CB used to give out for checking
checks and at the $1 single deck BJ game. I got traveler's checks just for this
promo. All the duds went into a weekly drawing. You just put your name on
the back.
They drew ten names a week on Mondays for 2x$25 gift certificates. If you
were diligent you could find extra duds laying around to improve your chances. I
scored several wins. They mailed out a letter and you had like three months
to claim and use. EW did this for awhile too.
What happened to the outdoor music packages they used to give away? I scored
the "Blues and Brews" weekend a couple of times. I think it was one entry
only and you had to pick just one weekend.
I guess Marnell wants us to eat that .7% in banked comps now.
