Hi! I have signed up for my first Harrahs junket to Laughlin. I leave
on March 12th out of Albany, NY and haven't received the time or
details yet. I was wondering if this is normal.
I was also wondering if anyone has any food recommendations that I can
use my RC's for. Thanks for any info.
Laughlin junket
Hi:)
We usually receive our information about 5 days before we leave. Everything is planned and run perfectly. You will love Laughlin. RC's can be used in the buffet, cafe, and steak house. I think they are all good. You can also buy snacks and drinks in the store right off the casino. If you are Diamond, the Diamond Lounge had sandwiches, veggies, cookies, soda, mixed drinks and on weekends shrimp and chicken for free. Have a great time

Thanks for all the info! I just got my info in the mail and now I
have a few more questions if you don't mind. Do you get any food on
the flight (free or otherwise)? Are the airplane seat assignments
based on a first come basis? I know allegiant air charges for food
and also charges for advanced seating, but was wondering if the
junket was different. Thanks again for all your helpful info.

Seats are given before we arrive at airport on when we signed up for trip. Can arrive anytime to airport and still have same seats. We get snacks but no real food. Many bring their own food either from airport or from home. If diabetic, definitely bring own food. Soda, juice and water are free as are the snacks. Have a great vacation:)

I will add to this conversation. The junkets go so smoothly.
Harrah's takes care of everything once you are on the plane. You
will love how easy they make it. Word of warning though...If you are
getting in late or have certain times you need to take medications
etc.. take a small carry on with those things in it. They bring the
bags to your room but they do ask for a 2 hour delivery time. We
have gotten in at 8:30 and had the bags by 10. But I have to take
some medications at 9 and at 10 - so I carried them with me. You
don't see your bags until they arrive in your hotel room. I will say
of all the Harrah's places, laughlin goes out of their way to take
care of you. I think you will enjoy it. Much more relaxed area than
vegas and reno...a slower pace of life sort of. Have fun.

Wife and I have taken several Allegiant junkets over the past couple
years. Our experience is that it varies, sometimes you'll get reserved
seats while other times it's a madhouse free-for-all. The last
Allegiant junket had reserved seats. But just today we got an offer
that gives us a choice of three options to Tunica staying at the
Grand. In the fine print, "Grand Casino Resort Tunica does not
guarantee seat assignments."
