Laughlin junket

Hi Gang:
Thanks again to everyone who provided us with information about
VP/accommodations/amenities in Laughlin for our five-night air junket there at the end of
March. Hedy and I now have more detailed info about Laughlin than we could
ever hope to use.
We are, however, re-thinking our plan to rent a car and drive up to Las
Vegas for a one-night stay during our time in Laughlin. We contacted a host at
Harrah's Laughlin and she has arranged for us to have a suite and taken care of
dinner reservations etc. She also told us that there is a special Seven
Stars event going on at Harrah's over the weekend we are in town and she put us
in for that. It includes a party, some drawings and each Seven Stars guest
gets $100 (in freeplay, I think). So, it appears it will be more worth our while
to stay local and take advantage of this offer.
Anyway, thanks again. We certainly expect to make the most of our time in
Laughlin.
Regards,
CoachVee (Tom V) & Hedy

-One thing about Harrah's - they know how to treat their people and I
am glad that I'm one of them. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay in
Laughlin -we enjoyed the hotel a lot and the surrounding casinos to
go to for variety. You really don't have to go to LV but it does add
some variety as well. I'm going to Harrah's in New Orleans the end
of Febuary - anyone have any tips, etc.??? It's a "free" junket from
South Bend, IN for me and my guest and the internet pictures look
great.

Well, I'm not exactly "one of them." The thought kind of reminds me of one
of those loss of control themed horror movies. Cut to mass of slobbering,
moaning zombies shuffling towards the Harrah's slot machines;-) I do still
find use of some Harrah's. Harrah's NO is a wonderful place to expend your
TR account. Lots of deals in that respect. The hotel is good, within an
easy walk to the Quarter. Vp is limited, but marketing offers can
compensate for some of that.

Sorry, no. I live and play VP in Las Vegas.

When I go to New Orleans, I eat. So I stuck with what I know.

I will suggest this -- upon your return, post an extensive trip
report. (We're headed there last weekend of March on a similar junket

- Harry

And you do likwise, Harry. No junket, but I will probably be back in April
for the French Quarter Festival. FYI, your Drago's oyster can be had for TR
comps. Check out the Harrah's NO site for a full list of "partner"
restaurants.
