First of all I want to thank everyone who answered my questions about
Laughlin.
Left on a allegiant air(HET) junket out of Albany NY on Wednesday the
12th at 8PM. Stopped at Lincoln Nebraska to get fuel. They said they
couldn't take off with enough fuel because the runway was too short.
I think it was to save fuel costs. Arrived in Laughlin 6 hours later.
Check in was very efficient and we were given a nice suite.
Stayed up all night gambling and lost about $1000 dollars on the $1
NSUD and the $JOB. Slept 3 hours and started gambling again. Won
about $500 on the $5 JOB and then walked to the Aquarius casino(long
walk). We played the $2 NSUD for about 6 hours and broke even after
finally hitting the deuces. We walked back to Harrahs and went to bed.
Next day we played mostly the $ Multi strike JOB. We had some pretty
good hits but were slowly but surely losing. After going to the ATM
we finally hit a royal on the bottom row which put us slightly ahead
for the trip. We played a little more and went to bed.
The next day we played various games and ended up down about $1000
which brought us back to even for the trip. We went to eat at the
Range steakhouse which was good but not great. The view of the river
and mountains while eating was worth going to the restaurant.
Our final day was again spent gambling with ups and downs ending up
down about $300 for the day and trip. All in all we were very happy
with our gambling results.
We flew out at 9am the next day and were home in 4hours.
Final thoughts:
The junket was very well run.
Didn't like getting there at such a late hour.
There was enough full pay machines to give you a chance.
Harrahs is isolated from the other casinos.
Earned bonus credits at a high rate even on the full pay machiness.
