That Loyality program started Friday the 16th, with out an ending date. I
thought it would die by the Super Bowl weekend. It is as strong as Rob says for
the first 10k/day (thresholds 100,250,500,1000 points).
Must be earned and collected the same day by 11 pm. The trouble is Mandalay
still makes you get comp slips for food, and they have specials for that too!
So it can be 50 deep at the slot club desk.
I believe Rob is talking about the games already reported, $1-10 with all 239
(not 250). Two Game Kings and two single game uprights (Bonus and ?). I
will look at them again.
I have never used a host at EW, just the marketing offers. If I can get in
at GN (300 rooms only) I stay there first. I usually play the .25 triple
plays on the EW bartop progressives or some Deuces. I sure have donated to those
triple plays but is not unusual to have a 1+% edge with the progressives on
each line. Maybe I should see about snagging a double point offer too?
They did this same day cashback promo in November for two weeks (sun-thurs
only) and I put $8k thru (a big day for me). It was 100 point increments. That
has not dialed up the offers yet.
This is just too strong to last, almost leery it is a trap for the Pros.
The weather forecast looks favorable this week. Always have to watch out for
snow this time of year. I am planning on sneaking over to Laughlin, it was 2
degrees this morning in Flagstaff.
