It is rare for me to be at a big weekend drawing but I was at GN
Sunday night for the results. This was a table game promo, unusually
strong, comprising of daily drawings for $1k total and the Aug 31
ones for $3k,$5K and $10k.
I had 25 or so entries for the estimated 7000-8000 tickets. The
daily drawings usually had 50-100 tickets on weekdays and 200-300 on
weekends. Eight weeks since July 4th.
What surprised me is that it took only 5 tickets drawn to give away
the 3 prizes. Two winners were actually playing BJ and the Grand
Prize winner was at a machine.
This promo probably won't be repeated, since it was designed to give
away the Carribean Stud progressive money that had accrued.
My eight week results-down $500 playing $10 BJ to get tickets for a
natural. Won a daily 4pm drawing for $100.
Biggest lesson learned: It is hard to hang out in the same casino
for drawings spaced out daily at 4,5,7,9pm.
