Laughlin from Sept. 19-25

Did I read awhile back that some of you are going to Laughlin in September?

I really had no plans to go, but today SWA came up with a "Ding" special for $158 RT from
Portland to Vegas, so I decided what the h*ll, and booked the flight (158 RT) and rental car
($146 for the week through Costco).

CB only cut back a little bit on the CB comp, giving me 3 nights free instead of 4, and 2
nights at the casino rate.

Chris is that when you'll be down there? Anyone else?

A good ding, and better VP offerings at the Colorado Belle can change
plans. I had planned on coming to Laughlin in Sept. a few months ago
when I found out that the Doobie Brothers AND Peter Frampton were
playing at Harrah's on Sept. 16th. However, when my wife tried to get
the time off of work, she found someone else had already reserved that
week. I still have no plans for Laughlin as Reno and Lake Tahoe have
been treating me very well. Have a great trip!

Kinda funny you should say that about Reno, Chris. I'm at the Reno airport now waiting to
go home, and I was in a bar in Reno when I posted this yesterday afternoon. I hear what
you say about Reno. I didn't come back a winner but only had to cough up a couple
hundred for a five day trip. Guess I feel more at ease about Reno too...and a bit sceptical
about the CB. Oh well, we'll see. Also, I cashed in my One Club while I was here too. Just
a little leery about how all that's gonna pan out.

I'll be at the RP 9/21-9/23 and EW 9/24-9/26 with another list member. I'm from LA and he's from Vegas. Anybody want to do a lunch or dinner? Let me know, Pat

Count me in for lunch or dinner..doesn't matter which or where or when.

Now that I think about it (and have awakened a little more than I was earlier today) maybe
the CB Brew Pub would be a nice place to meet for lunch or dinner. Only a suggestion
'cause they have pretty good food. But I'm flexible, also enjoy buffets, and on my own
schedule.
