Blue Streak is my Laughlin authority. No one has waxed as
eloquently poetic as he has, in describing his favorite venue. My only caution would be that you fill up your gas tank BEFORE
embarking on this desert pilgrimage. When EH and I made the drive
a few years ago, we almost became Buzzard bait, because he thought
that we had enough gas to make it. Don't let this happen to you!

Well thanks for the nice words. But there are other regional members of the
forums who enjoy the pedal to the metal to Laughlin. Some even drive big red
shiny trucks.
The westside of Kingman is a good place to gas-up before venturing any
farther into Arizona. This means on the way to Phoenix and well as heading due east
on I-40.
Believe it or not there are spots on I-40 where you can't get any tunes on
the radio, let alone gasoline.
