Laughlin Changes and Observations Mid-April

Well back from another visit. I still lament the Kokopellis lounge
change...paid admission. The act playing at the Bermuda Club wasn't that hot either.

Ch-ch-changes-

Harrahs once again rearranged the furniture. This time new games showed.
The Williams WSOP VP game is installed by the poker room. Some sort of wacky
bonus rounds on top of 97-98% VP. Pick-a-Pair made it to Laughlin too, sadly
unplayable.

Another identical 50-play showed up next to the one in Non-smoking with 9/6
Jacks. A green glass slant GK from the other side made it into N/S (right by
the promotions booth)...Jacks 9/6 (.25, .50 , $1). So we can scratch off the
"3 of 7" listing in smoking. The other two are MIA.

Rearranged the two .50/$1 Jacks and the one $1/2 Jacks/NSUD. Put them on the
east wall by the new (version II) poker room.

River Palms- non smoking was ripped up. The year experiment appears to be
over.

CB/EW- seemed unchanged. Played the upstairs CB FPDW for the first time.
Cocktailer even came by. Got to donate at the Shooter bar when the royal was
$1,500+.

A nasty IPA is the special in the Boiler Room. It has a grapefruity
aftertaste and will kick you at 7.2% buzz coefficient.

Pioneer- no more Sierra Nevada Pale on tap in Sassy Sue's. I didn't get
enough help turning it over. They put in college boy beers- Fat Tire, Sam Adams
and Dos XX. The jukebox is fun but conflicts exist with TVs/house music.

Here is the play coinage:

1- .50 (.50)
3- $1 (.33)
16- $5 (.31)
36- $10 (.28) What ever happened to 3 songs for a quarter?

Flamingo- still using the Connection Card. The 32 quarter Jacks games had
more stuff turned on in these GK. About 6 had Bonus Deuces (99.45% 9/4/4) and
the others Bonus Deluxe 9/6. I think these IGT Bonus Deuces have not been
seen in a long while. Employees seem clueless about becoming Arizona Charlies
Riverview.

See you all after the River Run.
