After this harsh winter we're considering becoming snowbirds for 2-3
months. The area gets about 15,000 of us a winter and with two small
dogs it doesn't look like condo renting is an option. The property
management agencies we contacted weren't really interested so it
looks like we might be purchasing.
We're thinking of a small, modest property, maybe even a mobile for
the few months of the year.
Anyone familiar with the area that can offer any suggestions, ideas
etc??

My in-laws were looking in the area, and settled on Kingman AZ,
because its 3000 foot altitude makes it cooler in the summer (they
live there year round), and property costs are less. At the time there
were no mobile home parks in Laughlin itself (elevation 700 ft., the
hottest town in NV in the summer). There were other problems with
Bullhead City that I'm not aware of.
