We will be traveling to Laughlin on Valentine's weekend and would
appreciate any suggestions on where to eat. Our dining preferences:
Breakfast - something along the lines of juice and a bagel/cold
cereal.
Lunch - soup and salad.
Saturday night dinner at a Mexican or other ethnic type restaurant.
From the sounds of your request for breakfast and lunch, the coffee
shops or the buffets will take care of those needs. Several of the
casinos have a little breakfast cart type things to pick up coffee
and a bagel. Mexican food? I can think of 2 places: Casa Serrano at
the new Riverside section across the street, and Baja Blue Restaurant
at Harrahs. If your goal is to come to Laughlin to try out some new
type of ethnic food like Pakistan, you will be disappointed. Most of
the food in Laughlin is fast
food/steaks/Italian/continental/Americanized. The food is very
reasonably priced, and there are lots of buffets. Pick up one the
Entertainer magazines when you get to town, and they will show lots
of bargain eats. Don't worry, you won't starve during your visit.
