GN: As an experiment, I played only table games there on my last
trip, putting in about 6-8 hours at craps, pai-gow, bj. The result
so far--zilch. Nickel vp players get more offers than table game
players, IMHO.

So did you ever give them enough play to collect that first $10 in cashback?
That could be a trigger just like at the Pioneer. So you have never received
any GN-L mail?

Your August play might not help until the next bi-monthly mailer. Please go
wait by your mailbox on Friday-October 26. That is when I am expecting my
next "Insider" mailer good for Nov/Dec.

OBTW, GNL is doing their Red/White & Blue promo right now. The Mustangs
should be parked out by the street. It is a good promo since it is just for
gamblers only. Any 100 points gets you five drawing tickets for Mon-Friday, 3-9p,
five drawings. A $25 suited BJ gets a ticket too. That is all. None for
eating, sleeping or breathing.

Last year they gave away the two cars in the first two weeks. The third is
given away at the Big Bang Finale on a Saturday, Nov 3rd? Cash from $100-500
is also in the envelopes. So there are what 220 envelopes to start the promo?
This year they only have one car in them, until someone wins it, then they
stick in another car envelope. They learned a lesson.

Getting 100 points on your card is not trivial. This is $2,650-3,500 coin-in
on VP.

I never ran enough coin through their clunkers to get the $10, but the
weird thing is that long before I ever signed up at GN-L (and I've
never signed up in LV) I started receiving email from GN-LV. I still
get email from them. Wonder where they got my address?

I will pull the lawn chair out of storage in preparation for my
mailbox sitting on Oct. 26. Sounds better than going to work!

I just received an email from the Edgewater, stating that they pay over 100% payback on 5/3
Deuces Wild, 7/5 Joker Poker, 10/7 Double Bonus Poker and 10/6 Double Double Bonus
Poker. Is that anything new?

They have been in the database. 12 slant-tops and 12 uprights MGs at
EW. CB also have the MGs with the same games.

The uprights at EW were giving 1 point for $2 coin-in. I'm still
interested if the slant-tops give the same, or 1 point for $1 coin-in?
What points do the machines at CB give for coin-in?

The points at CB were being given at $2 to a point. The Edgewater
is giving $2 per point except one group of machines.

Let me clarify that last post. It takes $2 to get 1 point.

Was the one group of machines at EW giving 1 point = $1, the slant-tops?

next "Insider" mailer good for Nov/Dec.

The threshold has been crossed for one in my merry band of gamblers.
He received his first GN "Laughlin Insider" yesterday! He has 2X point
coupons for Nov & Dec, however he has no Golden Getaway points--just 2
for 1 rooms. This must be the first level mailer.

The mailer indicates they will have automatic double points on all
machines starting December 3 and ending Dec 21.

I'm still waiting for mine....Maybe my mailbot was off yesterday.
