Latest Greektown Promo

I just got back from GT and played in their latest promo. If you
play enough and build up 500 points, and I don't think it's the
regular point system, you will earn one ticket to play one two-
minute session on a special set up slot machine.
   I played one session today. The leader board had the top ten
totals on it and I just barely missed the lead by 13,000 credits.
The leader had around 14,000 credits won during his/her two-minute
attempt. I hit diddly. (not Bo Diddly)
   And I also got my butt kicked playing dollar Pick'Em and Bonus
poker at the bar again. Thanks to Greektown I'll probably miss my
house payment this month. (just kidding, I think)
   Ran into Preston again at the quarter Pick'Em machines. Lost
there too. Not a good day for me and VP.

Hey Pappy, I tried the promo Sunday night and got a little over 4,000
pts not enough to even get on the list. Probably won't get enough
play this month for another chance. Fortuneately I won a little over
5,000 nickels on a 10 play DDB. About $250! Too bad it wasn't
quarters. Gave about half of it back but kept enough for a net win.

Preston,

I know we all want to win big, but we all also play for that few
seconds of excitement, that fifteen seconds of fame when we hit for a
big win whether it's for nickels or dollars. A five thousand-coin win
must have been exciting and sounded great as it rang up.
   I've maxed video poker and slot machines several times for 4,000
to 10,000 quarters or dollars several times and it's always a big
thrill that leaves me sitting there with a huge smile on my face. The
money is usually long gone after awhile, but the memory of that
thrill will last me a lifetime.
