With all these "downgrades" going on, what do you think may trigger a
change and shift focus to "upgrade" or at least no more downgrade?
Are the casinos making early moves to counter current (WinPoker, Frugal
VP, etc.) and upcoming (Video Poker for Winners, etc.) tools that help
many players win win win so that no matter how much vp knowledge you
bring to the casinos, the downgraded pay schedules are still unbeatable?
VP articles, forums, trip reports, stories, tv shows, etc. have been
focused mainly on players winning sessions (ie. Player A hit a Royal
Flush for $100,000 there and Player B got a dealt Royal on a 10-Play
machine here, then shows like "How to beat the casinos?" would say play
video poker instead of slots, play 10/7 DB instead of 9/6 DB, and on
and on). Everything is leading to or suggesting casino management
to "downgrade".
Who knows what will happen if maybe some of the vp writers start
writing more articles about why casinos are still ahead of the game
despite of full-pay or near full-pay machines:
- many people still playing the game without practicing with vp tools
or reading/memorizing proper vp strategies.
- many people play where denomination of the machine is way out of
their bankrolls
- many people play way tooooooo longggggg: they get tired and make
many mistakes (machines never get tired)
